Year 8 left us spellbound last week with a fantastic rendition of the musical Hairspray. Performed over two nights in The Patrick Troughton theatre at Mill Hill School, the cast dazzled as they sang and danced their way through the energetic production.
The play highlighted the maturity of our Year 8, who handled the principal themes of the play: discrimination, segregation and prejudice, with simultaneous gusto and sensitivity.
We would like to offer a huge thank you to Mrs Russo and her supporting team of gifted and passionate teachers, without whom such a superb production would not have been possible, and, of course, a massive congratulations to Year 8 for delivering such a brilliant showcase of their talent and ability.
We salute you Year 8 … you’re the ‘nicest kids in town’!
