Written by one of our senior choir members, Ellen takes us through her experience at the O2 arena for the young voices concert …
“I was so excited to be at the O2. It was an incredible experience. I was walking into the arena and all I could see was a sea of white t-shirts and flashing lights. The atmosphere was amazing as there were so many kids with smiles on their faces, getting involved with the singing. All of my friends were there and it will always be something that we will remember fondly. The song choices were really good and the conductor was very enthusiastic immersing us all in the music. We had been rehearsing the songs really hard at school for weeks but it was all worthwhile as our voices rang out in the choir of thousands at the world famous O2 centre.”
