There was a team of about 35 children from the age of 9 upwards (including 3 or 4 adults in the Masters up to the age of 70!) There were 8 other Countries represented although the largest teams were Italian and British.
Kimberley raced in the 15–16 year old group and she came 6th out of her race of 10. Kimberley was generally pleased with her performance although concedes there is always room for improvement! It was a lovely outdoor 50m pool which was important as she also used it to cool off at the end – her group raced at midday in 34° C. Her race was won by an Italian but GB got 2nd & 3rd.
