Winter Wonderland 2015

Christmas came early to Belmont with the wondrous Winter Wonderland. Thanks to our sponsors, parents, staff, advertisers and visiting stallholders, WWL went off with a bang! To the beautiful voices from the Choir, Santa arrived in his carriage followed by some representatives from the reindeer community and a short flurry of snow!

The Grand Raffle and Silent Auction were very popular this year and Santa and his lovely elf had a steady stream of young visitors. The wind did not put anyone off the outside attractions and there were constant queues at the Rodeo Christmas Pudding and the Snowboard Simulator. One of the highlights of the day was the staff’s Last Man Standing competition, where the Gaps stole the limelight. This may need to be revisited at B-Fest 2016!

Children and adults alike were kept busy with the usual games and a super selection of visiting stalls purveying gifts, olive oil, handbags, racing car prints and much more, including the first of many appearances for our very own Mini Young Enterprise stall, who did spectacularly well selling their own hand-made soaps, candles and Xmas stockings.

Thank you to all that were involved and we look forward to seeing you at the next FOB event of our Pub Night on the 21st January at the Adam and Eve.
