A packed audience in the Theatre heard Peter speak about the impact of drugs on society and then answered questions posed by pupils on a number of topics ranging from the current state of Russia to the importance of a free press.
After his presentation Peter joined seven members of the Politics Society for lunch over which his depressing thoughts on the state of modern Britain were shared. It is hoped that the memory of hearing Peter`s provocative opinions will stay with the pupils and we should all be thankful for the initiative shown by Matthew Thal in helping to organise this stimulating event.
