On Wednesday 8th November, 84 Lower School Musicians had the opportunity to see Matilda in the West End at Cambridge Theatre. The Musical was thoroughly enjoyed by all and two students who attended have wrote reviews;
The Matilda trip was great! I enjoyed all the scenes especially where Miss Trunchbull comes in! Matilda and the children were awesome at singing! I wish I could be that good at singing. I also wish I could see Matilda every week, every day, every 2 hours! The musical was very good at acting! Did you know Mrs Bywater was part of Matilda playing the instruments? I think Matilda the musical is so far the very best! This is my second time watching and i’m still not bored! It was really cool when the laser went on as Miss Trunchbull pressed a button! Julie, Yr5
The Matilda trip was awesome, I loved when Matilda sung the song ‘When I grow up’. One of the orchestra’s is from our school! Another thing that I liked was when the lasers were switched on! Lucia, Yr5
