2018 Sees the Relaunch of our School Council

This year sees the launch of the new school council which Mr Elliott has passionately lead. The senior monitors have collaborated every week in order to ensure that the all students’ voices are heard with it focusing around the strength of the student body as a whole. We are all really excited to introduce the new council; the younger pupils have been encouraged to put themselves forward so their opinions are listened to and invited anyone wanting to share an idea into group meetings and sessions.

‘As a goal, we hope to achieve a fair, democratic but ambitious group of young people who are open and ready to change subtleties as well as major aspects of the school’ Izzy (Senior Monitor)

‘Form group leaders have been introduced to ensure the valued participation of younger pupils in a less intimidating context. It was extremely pleasing to see the results of the application process through the firefly system, demonstrating the pupils’ enthusiasm towards improving Mill Hill’s unique ambience.’ Luca (Senior Monitor)
