Last week on Friday the U12’s had a fixture against St Olaves school. This was an excellent fixture for the U12’s as it gives an opportunity for less experienced players to play alongside those with more experience in order to help improve the overall teams ability. Toby 7GT, headed up the team fantastically, playing with last minute replacement Jake 5SP. Jake, an U10 player, played brilliantly with Toby and they worked very well together, winning their match 3-0 (12-3, 12-5, 12-6).
For the second pair we had Finn 7OM, and Zac 7AM, again played very well with great improvement winning 3-0 (12-5, 12-3, 12-1).
Third pair saw Christopher 7JF, and Eli 7OM play together again for the second fixture in a row and the second win in a row, winning in quick and fantastic style 3-0 (12-3, 12-0, 12-0).
Congratulations to the whole Belmont team for a 3-0 win over St Olaves, and to Zac 7AM for making his debut appearance for the school team!
