Saturday mornings are an important part of the academic and co-curricular programme at The Mount, Mill Hill International. This term, Year 11 pupils are engaged in revision and extension workshops with their teachers, and this is an invaluable time to revisit, review and revise key concepts for the IGCSEs.
This weekend our new Physics teacher, Dr Mahlmeister, put the pupils through their paces in the Physics lab. Miss Derry (Music and English) gives up many of her Saturday mornings to teach GCSE Music. This is an optional extra for pupils in Year 11 and it is taught outside of the main School timetable. This Saturday, Tianyi Xie was working on composition using a Macbook and the composing software, MuseScore. The composition she is working on is the theme tune for a new investigative crime drama.
