Three of our footballers from MMHI had their first taste of competitive action for Mill Hill School last weekend as they visited Latymer Upper School for U15 fixtures. Having progressed through a series of trial sessions and two weeks of team training, all three players were raring to go and keen to prove themselves on the pitch. The squads were pleased to arrive at Latymer Upper and find an immaculate set of pitches which were very conducive to playing the type of controlled attacking football they enjoy.
All three pupils put in excellent performances and contributed to a good set of results, with Ahmadou starring in a 2-1 win for the A team and Amir and Madi both helping the B team to a 2-2 draw. A great start to the season which continues next weekend with a set of home games against The Oratory School.
