Year 6 pupils were set a challenging practical project to create a contour/relief topographic map. The children designed their own island and included a key; some even used layered colouring on their islands.
Year 7 have been studying Low Income Countries (LIC’s) and they have fashioned some detailed shanty towns or favelas, to demonstrate the difficult conditions in which some of the world’s poor people find themselves living.
