The heats for the annual Farrow Singing Prize took place on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Audience members were treated to over 100 vocal performances of opera, art song, pop, jazz, musical theatre and ensemble singing. The standard of performing was exceptionally high throughout the heats, giving our adjudicators an extremely difficult task selecting the finalists.
On Sunday, the 31 finalists will now go on to develop their performances in a workshop/masterclass with Benedict Kearns OM (Weymouth 2013) and Rose Miller OM (Atkinson 2012). The final takes place at 7pm on Thursday 8 February in The Large. Admission is free and all are warmly invited to attend.
