Our new Volleyball Club

Recently we have seen a welcomed increase in ‘pupil voice’ relating to the provision of activities we offer. An example of this is Sixth Form pupil Zeynep (Ridgeway House) who had a strong desire to start a Volleyball Club.

Volleyball was allocated a Sports Hall slot with the understanding that Zeynep would find enough players to justify the allocation. I am pleased to report that if you take a stroll down to the Sports Hall during Thursday lunchtime you will find in excess of 20 pupils (and teachers) enjoying sociable games against each other. Who knows, Volleyball could well become the next competitive interschool sport offered by Mill Hill School.

Other successful activities which have recently started as a direct result of pupil voice include Girls’ Basketball, Developing Speed Sessions and Girls’ Football. Keep the suggestions coming!
