Our New Lunchtime Clubs

Children’s Book Illustration Club

Pupils at Mill Hill School now have the opportunity to develop their creativity even further at our new Children’s Book Illustration Club on a Monday lunchtime. Under the expert guidance of Miss Young, pupils have created and sketched their very own cartoon characters, adopted personalities for them and used their artistic and creative skills through drawing and collage work to bring their characters to life. It is the perfect way to unwind at the beginning of the week, so come along, grab a sketch book and start drawing – it’s so much fun! If you would like to sign up to this activity please see Mrs Ward or Miss Young.

Cheerleading Club

Cheerleading is a brand new lunch time activity that has taken on the challenge of cheer athletics. The group is run by one of our Graduates, Miss Robson, who is an All Star Cheerleader level 4, National Champion 2017 and level 1 and 2 coach. The squad is currently working towards a routine which will be performed at the end of the summer term. The routine which is made up of stunting, tumbling, dance and a pyramid section will show case all the teams’ talents. Practices are taking place on a Monday lunchtime at 1.00pm in the Sports Hall Gallery and are open for viewing to all. We look forward to seeing you at our end of year performance and if you can’t wait until then, new members are always welcome anytime. See Mrs Ward or Miss Robson for sign up to this activity.

Contact Mrs Ward if there is a specific club you would like introduced to the current timetable.
