STEM Robotics

This term, the STEM Robotics Club has been busy designing and building different Robots using Lego Wedo programming!

Beginning with guided Ipad programming and progressing to different challenges involving planning and creating their own designs (think Science Rovers and Robotic Arms!) the club have dedicated themselves to employing problem solving skills and their robots now speak, turn and move (some even raced down the Proctor Hall at lunchtime!) Students are also learning how to use the very exciting motion and colour sensors.

Next week, the club embarks upon a new challenge- creating a robot as a solution to waste clean-up in the U.K with a focus on protecting our waterways. These students at Belmont are the STEM leaders of the future! Stay tuned!
