Annual Geography Trip to Yorkshire

The annual Geography trip to Yorkshire was a success, with pupils revising fluvial geography and consolidating their knowledge on geology by examining limestone pavements at the beautiful Malham Cove. To complement the physical geography, the Lower Sixth went to various rural settlements including Malham and Ingleton in order to study settlement changes and compare the populations. A big thank you goes to Mr Hodgson, whose wealth of knowledge is unparalleled and supported the important experiences of “awe and wonder” to be found in the Yorkshire Dales. There were stand-out contributions from pupils Iwan and Freddie. The department can’t wait for the next trip – Geology Rocks!!
