A Proud Moment for the Corps of Drums

On Saturday morning, the Corps of Drums led the St George’s Association, St George’s Day Parade at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. This is a national parade which involved about 1000 people with both sides of the road lined with spectators. The route took us from Horse Guards to the Cenotaph past Downing Street.

It was a very proud occasion for the cadets; the inspecting officer came to find them afterwards and spoke to each one of them, thanking them for their involvement. They all played well and looked extremely smart as they proudly represented the School. The day would not have been possible without the strong leadership of Bertold M – Drum Major, Hugo F – Lead Drummer and Ching K – Lead Flute.
