Our 1st XI played against Middlesex Women’s 1st XI today in a T20 game. It was great to host the team having just signed our official partnership with Middlesex CCC.
Overall it was a very low scoring game; the 1st XI did amazingly well to defend, with a strong team bowling effort supported by some superb fielding. The stand-out bowlers of the day were Sam Bogiatzis who took 4 wickets and Eddie Hilderbrand who took 3. Special recognition must also go to Josh Drage who took his first 2 wickets for the School. The fixture was enjoyed by all and we hope to repeat it later on in the term.
