In Year One this week we wrote a list about the items we needed to take on our trip in the style of Charlie and Lola. On Wednesday we went on our fabulous trip to London’s South Bank. We were treated to perfect weather while we took in the sights and sounds of London. Children danced with street performers, were impressed at the skate park, saw ‘the beach’ at Gabriel’s Wharf and of course could point out the iconic landmarks we have been learning about this term. After lunch we had an ice-lolly while we waited for our boat to arrive and take us up the Thames for a tour. Back at school, children have sequenced events of the trip and written about what they “will always remember”.
In Maths, we have been learning about analogue and digital for o’clock and half past.
