Our learning this term was brought to life at the start of the week with a visit to London. The sun was shining and the children could not wait to experience the sights and sounds of the city. They squealed with delight as we approached the London Eye and were amazed by the sheer size of the landmark as it towered over them. The children enjoyed a gentle river cruise along the Thames; keen to wave and cheer to passers by every time we went under a bridge. This was followed by a ride on the London Eye with children excitedly naming all the buildings they could see, and squinting to find out whether the Queen was home at Buckingham Palace. The day concluded with an entertaining 4D Cinema Experience showing 3D aerial photography over London, including a real flurry of snow! A great day was had by all…the sleeping children on the journey home showed what an action packed and fun filled trip it had been!
