Over the course of this Half Term, 46 Year 5 Children have been taking part in the Belmont Friendly League. The League was a football competition run at lunchtime, giving both boys and girls an opportunity to play football with their friends and form new friendships too! Points were awarded to teams based on their fair play and sportsmanship as opposed to results and goals scored. It was amazing to see the overwhelming support which the Year 5s gave to each other regardless of their ability, creating a fantastic atmosphere on the Small Astro-Turf when games were being played. We look forward to seeing this same level of camaraderie on the upcoming Year 5 PGL Trip. A huge well done to all of the Year 5’s who took part!
