Activities week at Belmont commenced this week with Year 3 visiting the Paradise Wildlife Park.
The children took part in a ‘Mini Beast’ workshop, where they were able to use magnifying glasses to inspect mini beasts such as snails and cockroaches.
The children also had the opportunity to see some amazing animals such as the majestic white tiger and meerkats. We then took a step into the past and entered the prehistoric land of ‘Dino World’ where the children were mesmerised by the gargantuan moving model creatures, as can be seen from the pictures. Thank you to Mrs de Souza Dark and Mrs Slade for their hard work in organising a fantastic day out for both the children of Year 3 and the staff who attended.
Activities Week is sure to be full of fun challenges and experiences for everyone!
