We have been having great fun in Art Club this term! We made beautiful blossom tree pictures using pastels and tissue paper and we talked about how spring had arrived. We enjoyed experimenting with clay and the children all came up with some different ideas about what to create. The children looked at some London scenes and then drew and coloured in with felt tips their own pictures, and they did an excellent job. We practised sketching portraits and then added colour by using pastels or watercolours and the results were fantastic. We then created some amazing butterflies by drawing a butterfly shape, cutting it out and then decorating with a variety of collage materials. Last week we had a lovely time in the garden where the children drew some different things that they could see. This week they painted some beautiful tea cups and saucers and they were very creative with their designs!
