On Tuesday a large number of our Year 8’s took part in two separate volunteering initiatives: Cooking with Gratitude and a visit to Swiss Cottage School.
Our amazing students were able to cook up a storm creating vegetarian meals – all to be delivered by ‘Give Together’ to a local shelter. This took place while another group took part in a ‘Magic Breakfast’ at Swiss Cottage School prepared by their learners. It was a fantastic day also involving a tour of the school and plenty of craft for the Swiss Cottage School’s upcoming multicultural evening.
We were very proud of the way our students conducted themselves and gave their time to help others. A big thank you to ‘Give Together’ who have been instrumental in supporting Belmont and organising these events.
