STEM

This half term started with incredible STEM workshops for the whole school providing an exciting and engaging marvellous middle to our London topic.

We were all thrown into depths of engineering learning new skills which allowed us to follow carefully designed instructions and create the fantastic landmarks on display in the foyer and around the school.

The delight was visible in the children’s faces as landmarks started to come together and there were squeals of joy as Tower Bridge opened and closed its bascules, all made by the children and a testament to their hard work, communication and collaboration!

The children really started to understand how Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths pervades every part of our lives.

Jeremy, our inspiring Engineer, ensured that the days were full of problem solving, analytical thinking and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
