This week in Reception the children realised that the dragons were missing. A burnt note was left by a dragon explaining that he had really enjoyed his time in the class and learning the Grimsdell Way code. We were not sure where all the dragons had gone, so missing posters were created and put up around the school.
During the week we received messages that a dragon was seen in different places around London. The children drew a map of all the landmarks he had visited.
In Forest School we had a great time making magic wands and then enjoying our picnic lunches in this wonderful weather.
During our Circle Time, we discussed why the dragon had run away and how it is important to admit to our mistakes and not run away from them.
In Maths we have been reinforcing our counting in 5s and 10s and solving practical problems involving combining groups of 5 and 10 objects.
