On Friday 8th June, we were lucky enough to have a London Transport Design and Technology workshop at Belmont. This is an important step in our transition to Belmont and we were taught and assisted by Teachers that the pupils may have next year.
We designed a London vehicle in class and used lots of different tools, such as a hack saw, glue gun and vice, to make a base with wheels so that it could move. We had to listen carefully to the instructions given as we needed to be very careful with some of the more dangerous equipment. It was so much fun and we were very impressed with our vehicles and have proudly displayed them in our classes.
Make sure you look for them during Parents’ Day next Friday!
