This week Year 7 pupils have been visiting the Library during their English lessons to choose a free Bookbuzz title!
Bookbuzz is a reading programme from the charity BookTrust that aims to help schools inspire a love of reading in Year 7 students. The scheme gives students the opportunity to choose their own book to take home and keep, from a list of 17 age-appropriate titles. They are all carefully selected by a panel of experts to ensure quality and suitability. I will be ordering the pupils’ choices this week and the titles should arrive over half term.
