Foundation Day saw the Annual Inter-House Girls’ Hockey Tournament. After a somewhat wet start the girls got into their games and represented their Houses well. Team spirit was a key component to the day and whilst there were initially team favourites, all of the games were played to a highly competitive standard with many goals being scored and saved.
On the day the leading goal scorer was Charlotte K (Atkinson) who recorded 3 goals in 4 games, however a couple of players challenged her right up to the final. The semi-finals were hotly contended with Murray & Priestley going through to play for the 2018 title. Murray were victorious with a final score of 2 vs 0. Player of the tournament went to Hannah H (McClure) who showed great sportswoman-ship and skills throughout all of her games.
