Congratulations to Vassilios 8CM for achieving a Silver Award at the age of 12 in the Senior UKMT Challenge which is a National maths competition for A level pupils.
Well done to Mark 6RB, Yuri 6RA, Shayan 6JN and Xarina 6RA who represented Belmont in the Year 6 Aldwickbury Maths Challenge. Mark and Yuri came 15th and Shayan and Xarina came 21st out of 61 teams competing.
A fortnight ago, Taeko, Archie, Luca and Parul attended the first round of the National Young Mathematician’s award. They enjoyed a dice based maths challenge but unfortunately didn’t make it through to the next round.
