We have had a busy week practising the songs for the Nativity. A few more classes went over to The Large at Mill Hill School to see the space and get used to where they will be standing. We realised we would need to be a lot louder than we have been in the music room to fill the large space. The children have really impressed me with their ability to learn so many lyrics.
Many children in Year 2 have learnt their lines now and are really getting into character. The expression they are using for their lines is wonderful. We have started to think about the body language their character might use and how they would react to different people’s lines to show they are present in the scene.
