This week was our last learning about India before we begin to celebrate Christmas.
The children decided they would like to find out more about snakes. We learnt about different snakes, patterns on their scales, what they like to eat and where they live.
We had a special visit from Miss Deamer’s fiancé Liam who brought in his pet snake ‘Miss Hiss’. Most of us stroked Miss Hiss and Ms Oechler and Ms Assuncao were very brave and held her. Miss King on the other hand wouldn’t touch her, maybe next time.
We learnt lots of facts about snakes, it was a great experience.
We also celebrated the end of our topic by learning some Indian dancing in the hall. The classes had so much fun and it was a lovely way to end our Indian topic. I wonder if they will be able to show you any of their moves at home.
