This week Upper Sixth DT pupil Airi S (Priestley) introduced her ideas for a lighting unit, incoporating an additional display area, to the OMs Committee. Airi decided to design and manufacture a functional and contemporary product for the Old Millhillians Room for her major A2 project focus. Many of the proposals she presented were shaped by her appreciation of Japanese and English cultural influences, something she wishes to pursue as a Product Designer. Her range of ideas and 3D models were well-received and she took away several positive suggestions to guide further development.
