Our Remove Sports Leaders enjoyed their first event of the year this week, welcoming six groups of pupils from Grimsdell for an exciting trampolining workshop. Brilliantly led by Grimsdell’s PE teacher Veronica Suarez-Rivas, the young pupils had the chance to familiarise themselves with the trampolines and try a number of different techniques, including practicing safe landings, tuck jumps and half turns.
The Sports Leaders approached the activity with great enthusiasm, offering support, feedback and assistance, and even getting the chance to demonstrate some of the activities themselves. The highlight of the morning, though, was undoubtedly a very special demonstration from our Head, Mrs Sanchez, who wowed onlookers with her ability on the trampoline!
