The Court of Governors of the Foundation would like to announce that Dr Amanda Craig has stepped down from her position as the Chair of the Court.
Dr Craig has been a Governor of the Foundation for twelve years and played an important role in the development and progress of all four schools. As Chair of the Pastoral Committee and the designated Governor responsible for Safeguarding, Dr Craig has been integral to the Foundation’s focus on ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of all the pupils.
As Chair, Dr Craig has been responsible for successfully leading the Court and the Foundation for the past 18 months; including seeing through the change of Senior Management over the summer. Dr Craig also led the process resulting in the appointment of Mrs Sanchez as the new Head of Mill Hill School.
With the Head now in place, Dr Craig feels the time is right for her to step down from the Court and allow a new Chair to take the Foundation forward in appointing a new CEO and implementing a strategic plan for the next phase of the Foundation’s development.
Vice Chair, Elliot Lipton has agreed to fulfil the role of Interim Chair until the formal election process for a new Chair is completed.
The members of the Court are indebted to Dr Craig for her loyal and valuable commitment to the Foundation over the last twelve years and send her the very best wishes for the future.
