Success Outside School

Well done to this week’s Successes Outside School, great to hear what our pupils have been up to over the Christmas break!

  • Kian (5TB) has been invited to join the National Children’s Orchestra, he also achieved a Distinction for his Grade 5 Violin exam
  • Emika (3JD) completed her Grade 1 ISTD ballet exam in December
  • During the first week of the Christmas holidays Felix (8CM) completed the final leg of the Capital Ring. The Capital Ring Walk offers a chance to see some of London’s finest scenery. Divided into 15, easy-to-walk sections, it covers 78 miles (126KM) of open space, nature reserves, Sites of Specific Scientific Interest and more.  Felix completed all but one section of the Ring in early 2018 training to complete the West Highland Way. He completed the West Highland Way over 9 days during the summer holidays, covering 96 miles over trails between Glasgow and Fort William.
  • Christmas holidays Kian (7LN)passed his karate grading exam and has successfully moved to brown belt. He also passed his grade one piano exam and has started on grade two pieces.
  • Lena (5SP) has passed her grade one piano exam.
  • Jasmine (8JC) & Seona (8RG) have been selected for the Middlesex County Hockey Squad after an extremely rigorous selection process.
  • Taeko (6RA) and Hiroshi (5SB) passed the three stars level in skiing, ESF. Hiroshi was awarded highest score and Taeko was the second highest score. Taeko also received silver and Hiroshi received gold for the short parallel turn test.
  • Sam (5TB) had some exciting news in the Christmas holiday that he has been selected for London Schools (LSCB) and Borough under 10 cricket. He is thrilled!
