On Tuesday Year 2 went on a walk to look at the changing clouds in the sky. On route to the playground the children spotted a mysterious object on the balcony of Grimsdell. As they looked closer, the children shouted “emoji” and later discovered that it was an egg! The egg was yellow with two large eyes, wearing purple socks. It spoke to the children, telling them that he was stuck on the balcony and needed the children’s help to get down. The egg left the book ‘Egg Drop” by Mini Grey for each class to read. This sparked our learning this week all about eggs! What a stunning start!
