We are incredibly excited to announce our upcoming Girls’ Sports tours at Mill Hill School. We have an outline plan for the next couple of years kicking off with a Junior Hockey tour (current Fourth Form & Belmont Year 8 pupils) to possibly the most passionate place on the earth for Hockey – Holland. We are looking to travel to Holland in the first half of the October Half term 2019 with a junior squad. We will have a coaching session delivered by a local Dutch Coach so the girls will experience an international session where their skills will be tested and challenged. This will be followed by three local fixtures where the girls will put into play what they have practiced. On a day off from training, the girls will have a trip into Amsterdam including a visit to Anne Frank’s House and a tour of the famous canals.
For the Seniors, we have put together a sports tour to Barbados. A fantastic sporting destination in the colder months of February, this will take place 14 – 22 Feb 2020 and will be a combined Hockey & Netball Tour (for current Year Remove, 5 Form and Lower VI). This trip will be a combination of training and fixtures within a very different environment to our usual school sport; they will also experience a Caribbean-led coaching session giving an insight into how other countries train. A tour to Barbados would not be complete without an Island Safari, a cruise on a catamaran or staying in a hotel with its own private beach!
