It has been a successful start to the term for our Netball teams who have shown nothing but commitment and determination to the sport. Six out of the ten teams are currently unbeaten this term, including our senior 1st Vll. It is great to see so many of the girls, across all five year groups training with the aim to develop and progress their own netball ability, but also developing as part of a team.
Highlights so far have been the U14 matches against Belmont, all three U15 team’s success against Kimbolton School, and most recently the 1st Vll team win against St. Benedict’s and Aldenham, both of whom they lost to last season. We have the welcome addition of Stella H (New House) from Australia, to our senior squad as a player, but she has also integrated well into the coaching and umpiring for the younger years. She is a welcome addition to support the hard working coaching staff, who continue to plan and deliver high quality netball sessions each week, focusing on athletic development and team tactics.
We look forward to the rest of the season and hope to continue our run of success. All future fixtures can be found on the School website. Parents and family are welcome to attend fixtures to support the teams; it would be great to see you on the touch-line.
