Children in Year one continued exploring scooters this week. They had a lot of fun taking part in cooperative activities and games where collaboration and flexible thinking were needed. They worked in pairs transporting a partner in different ways using a wide range of equipment. We also played ‘horse and buggy’ in pairs. One child was the horse and had to pull the second person, who was the rider, all the way around a far cone and back to the next awaiting player. They all worked really well and congratulated each other for pulling their partners safely.
