We have had a wonderful start to this half term with an outstanding performance from the Toffee Bear Choir at the Southbank Centre. The choir sang two songs and received fantastic feedback from the music mentors, “You made a glorious sound and sang with such conviction…this was an excellent performance full of joy.”
I was so impressed with the children’s composure and confidence. This was the first performance for many of the children and they weren’t phased by the new surrounding or by having an audience. They made us all very proud. Thank you so much to everyone who came to support us.
As a special treat to the choir for working so hard towards this performance we had a special Toffee Bear Choir breakfast where the children had a feast of sausages, cereal, croissants, flapjacks, watermelon and even hot chocolate! I am very grateful to our wonderful chef, Maggie for supplying the breakfast.
