We have had a great first week of Science Week. The children have enjoyed being scientists and exploring with liquids to find the perfect bubble mixture. They have also observed and commented on the changes they saw in creatures that expand in water.
The children learnt all about voting and democracy when we gave them the opportunity of deciding what they would like in the two role play areas. The morning children voted for a hairdressing salon and the afternoon children voted for a space rocket. They have had great fun playing in both areas this week.
On Wednesday Nursery had a fantastic visit from Tess the veterinary nurse and her dog Willow. We learnt all about what a vet does and how we look after dogs. It was a great visit!
Today the children enjoyed their Forest School session, they went on a red nose hunt and learnt how to use a peeler to make their own magic wand.
