The children thoroughly enjoyed our joint Year 1 and Year 2 trip to the Science Museum on Monday, consolidating their knowledge about marine animals. Wearing 3D glasses, children were treated to a screening of ‘Under the Sea’. They held their hands out to catch the sea creatures as they leapt off the screen, keen to explore the wonders of the ocean!
In class we have been learning about all things SHARKS! This was prompted by a message we received from another diver called Eugenie Clark. She also left us a book ‘Shark Lady’ to help us learn about her story.
Dr. Eugenie Clark was a scientific pioneer who greatly contributed to people’s knowledge of sharks and other fish, and who worked tirelessly to improve sharks’ reputation in the public eye.
