Yesterday, the group met outside the front of Mill Hill School at 5am to set off on our adventure. Our journey was almost postponed immediately, after our flight to Abu Dhabi was delayed by an hour and a half! This only gave us around 40 minutes to change to our next flight to Trivandrum. But, we made it!
Our first day has already been fantastic, the Mill Hill pupils have been given the best welcome I have ever seen, with individual cards and banners everywhere. They have also enjoyed a full tour of the School and danced with some of the Sri Jayendra students on the grand stage in the centre of the school.
As I write, they are hard at work getting their first lesson plans together, and we will have a relaxing evening before the busy day ahead tomorrow.
