This Friday lunchtime, Ellen B-G (Murray) (accompanied by Mr Evanson) treated staff and pupils to her effortless yet dramatic Cello playing. A programme full of excitement grew organically as Ellen showcased her flexibility of rhythm, delicate colour and vivacious venom. Strong, crisp outbursts were matched memorably with smooth lamenting melodies. Ellen beckoned the audience into her programme through compelling drama and beauty of tone.
