Remove geographers braved the wind and rain today and ventured deep into the woods at Epping Forest. Not even a months worth of rain could keep them away from doing their rivers study in preparation for their paper three GCSE exam next year.
As part of the rivers investigation, pupils explored how a rivers characteristics change downstream from it’s source to the mouth. To do this they put their wellies on and got stuck in (literally in some cases) to taking measurements and gathering their data.
Thankfully the sun shone over Epping for the day and there was no need for the emergency ponchos!
