Special New Library Books- With A Difference

Last weekend, Mrs Hunt attended the annual School Library Association conference in Birmingham, which this year had the theme of Building Readers, Building Identities. In-between the talks and workshops, Mrs Hunt bought several titles to be signed by their authors and/or illustrators. This means that the Library now has copies that have been signed and dedicated to the school, which makes them extra-special!
The titles are Ade Adepitan’s Cyborg Cat: Rise of the Parsons Road Gang; the Chris Riddell-illustrated edition of J K Rowling’s The Tales of Beedle the Bard; current Children’s Laureate Lauren Child’s new title Hubert Horatio: How To Raise Your Grown-Ups; and, finally, the winner of this year’s prestigious Greenaway medal for illustration – The Lost Words, written by Robert MacFarlane and illustrated by the wonderful Jackie Morris.

Pop along to the Library if you want to see any of these wonderful books for yourself!
