We started our last full week in Nursery with a wonderful trip to Southend. The children travelled by coach, had their yummy lunch, had fun digging on the beach and then visited the Aquarium. The children had a great time with many of them falling fast asleep on the journey home! Thank you to all the amazing parents who helped out we couldn’t have done it without you.
After the wonderful trip we talked in great detail about our favourite moments from the trip looking at photos and putting them order. The children then went on to write or the adult scribed a sentence which described their favourite moment.
The children enjoyed learning their last single sound ‘z’, we decorated them to look like a zebra. We also recapped all the previously taught sounds and songs trying hard to remember all the actions.
We ended the week with the fabulous finish event ‘Splish splash splosh’. The children loved getting wet. What a great week!
