In Reception this week we have been very busy! We had a fabulous trip to Southend-on-Sea, where the children got to enjoy a traditional English seaside and visit the aquarium. The children loved digging with buckets and spades, finding shells and seeing what beach bits would sink or float. In the aquarium the children got to see sharks, seahorses, turtles and otters! After our trip we have been inspired to make story maps, recreate the aquarium and write about the trip. In phonics we have been using our phonic knowledge to write all about our trip. In maths we have been practising subtraction.
