On Wednesday Year 5 went to the Cambridge Theatre to support Zoe (5SP) as the starring role in the West End production, Matilda.
Zoe has been working incredibly hard throughout the year, combining her love for the stage with her studies and it was a fantastic opportunity for her friends, classmates and teachers to see the hard work which she has put into it!
It goes without saying that Zoe was simply sensational and lit up the stage which is quite an achievement for someone so young! To have so many lines, songs and routines to learn, whilst performing them flawlessly, is brilliant.
Emily (5SB), “The show was amazing! I loved every minute and Zoe was incredible too of course!”
Zoe (5SP), “I loved the opportunity to show all of my friends what I have been up to recently. I’m really looking forward to being Matilda until March!”
A huge thank you to Miss Hockley for organising the trip and to all of the staff for supporting too. If you haven’t seen it, Matilda is a must watch!
